The radon fan kit that I ordered is great-- clear instructions, lots of stickers for clear communication. But the best thing of all was the customer services. I mistakenly ordered the wrong size of kit, so I called the service line and immediately got in touch with a real person, who took care of my mistake right away and made it so I could return the wrong parts easily. I was so impressed!

Great product

Tested the radon value in my basement. It was at an 8.0. Only two people within a 75 mile radius do radon mitigation and charge a hefty sum. I have a sump pump with french drain along the foundation and gravel under the cement basement floor. Researched radon mitigation requirements, installation procedures, and codes. Festa's site is a good place to start. Replaced the sump with a completely sealed cover to attach the 3 inch PVC pipe. Mine runs horizontally into an attached garage, vertically through the ceiling, and the fan is in the attic with the pipe exiting through the roof. The Maverick works great. My radon reading of an 8 is now only a 1 after several days of use. It was Summer so with the windows open, it did help for upstairs elimination. Never hear the fan in the attic. It's been 8 months now and it's the middle of Winter. The radon level is still no more than a 1 and sometimes less. I hope the Maverick lasts a long time because it's working great. Installing the fan itself is very easy. Especially with the wire connectors provided. If this Maverick eventually quits, I'll replace it with the same. My daughter's home in Denver, CO also has the same Maverick fan and it works great. Thank you for a great product.
