Radon Resistant New Construction, RRNC, is the practice of home builders installing radon mitigation systems during the construction of the home or building. Installing a radon mitigation system, also called an active soil depressurization or ASD system, during construction has many benefits. ASD systems installed during construction are more cost effective than those installed post construction, home builders are also able to route the piping of the system in a way that protects the aesthetics of the home. Homeowners will appreciate that they will not have to worry about cancer causing radon or the hassle of arranging their own radon mitigation system installation.
